Gillian O'Kelly

Nationality : Wildfey

Race : Changeling

DOB : April 25, 1749

Employer : Self-Employed

Information : Gillian was abducted by a member of the Summer Court in the eighteenth century. Once outside of the Seal's influence, it was revealed that Gillian was one of those rare mortals with a gift of prophecy. This kept her safe from the Tithe and made her captor very successful in both Court politics and in battle against Winter’s forces.

Gillian eventually engineered her captor's death at the hands of his enemies. On the eve of the next battle she left out crucial details from her visions, leading her captor directly into the hands of Winter's army. In the resulting chaos she escaped, eventually running across Roderick and his group.

Gillian is a true changeling. Over the years she gained a number of Fey-like features and abilities thanks to the influence of her Summer Court captor. This has led to a great deal of distrust among many of the Lost Squadron. Specter particularly blames her for not warning them of the Winter Court ambush that nearly cost them the whole squad.

Though Gillian was a child when brought into Fey, she was magically aged by her Fey captor and now resembles a woman in her early twenties.

Employer : RCSI

Division : Commander / Lost Squadron

Information : Jacob Roderick was the founder of RCSI as well as its first Commander. It was through Roderick's actions that the influx of magic during the 1940's was recognized as a real event, and not an imaginary bi-product of the stress of the war. Roderick was also responsible for securing financial support from the Crown. He was rumored to have had more than a passing interest in Princess Moraine.

Despite being missing since 1948, letters signed "Spooky" still show up on occasion. While code names are occasionally reused, names of agents missing in action or who have died in the line of duty are not. There has only been one Spooky in RCSI's history.

Jacob is seen by the Fey as the Fool of the Mortal Court - Moraine's messenger and enforcer. This position brings him into contact with Summer and Winter's fools, Puck and Jack, more often than he likes.

Race : Pine Martin

DOB : January 10, 1883

Employer : MI-5

Information : 'K' was the head of MI-5 at the time RCSI was started. He was a no-nonsense fellow who had a hard time dealing with a small number of his agents who started seeing what he called "fanciful imaginings."

Despite seeing Merrybell in person, K never truly believed the reports Jacob Roderick and the first members of RCSI turned in to him. While frustrated at Moraine's insistence in taking over the think tank and starting her own agency, K was also relieved. In his mind, it was a few less nutters he had to deal with. Deceased.

Employer : RCSI

Information : Commander Boothroyd, known by many in the agency as simply CB, is a former field agent who's held the position of commander for a number of years now. While getting on in years, he is not interested in retiring any time soon and treats any suggestions of slowing down with derision.

Boothroyd is an old friend of Queen Moraine and is one of the few members of RCSI who is willing to argue policies with her. With this gruff old man, his concerned for the welfare of his country, the agency, and his agents always comes before that of himself.

Leanan Sidhe

Nationality : Wildfey

Race : Fey

DOB : Before recorded history

Employer : N/A

Information : The Aspect of the Muse. In the early days Leanan Sidhe would be approached by mortals who wanted to gain fame and fortune as bards and musicians. Her blessing would grant these mortals a silver tongue, perfect pitch, and the inspiration to write music for the ages. One year after their bargain with the Leanan Sidhe, these mortals would slip into madness and be claimed by the Fey muse. She would drag them to the Fey Realm and take their blood, much like a vampire.

In modern times Leanan Sidhe still lends her boons to musicians, however she tends to be drawn more towards the British Punk and Underground rock scene, where the aggressive musical styles and anti-authority attitudes make for good choices in victims.

Maximillian (Max) Wallace McConnor "Hunter"

Nationality : Scottish

Race : Mouse

DOB : November 15, 1976

Employer : RCSI

Division : Field Agent / General

Information : A short, quiet fellow who's more dangerous than he looks, Max had a rocky start at the agency due to his rather insubordinate attitude. After an embarrassing run-in with Queen Moraine during his assistant-ship, he was shipped off to Brumborg for a year's worth of training. While less insubordinate after his stint in Brumborg, Max still questions and acts on his own motives. He's just learned to keep his thoughts, for the most part, to himself.

Max rarely talks about his family, preferring to change the subject if possible. What is known by others in the agency is that he and his father do not get along and that his family is believed to be well-to-do.

Max was trained by Davis Wright. He is the chief of Ruby Pyrenees.

Michael Brendon Pyrenees "Warbird"

Nationality : British

Race : Hound

DOB : March 6, 1907

Employer : RCSI

Division : Diplomatic Relations / Ambassador

Information : Michael Pyrenees was one of the original core group of agents in the 1940's. He was formerly RAF until he was grounded for destroying too many planes. While he brought down many of the Luftwaffe, he tended to fly his own planes into the ground, either through excessive damage or refusal to abandon a fight even if his fuel tank was running dry.

After being grounded, he was transferred to MI-5. Michael originally disregarded Jacob Roderick and the budding agency as a joke, until he had a chance encounter with the ghost of Jack the Ripper. The meeting making a believer out of him, he promptly asked to join RCSI's ranks. Michael led the first diplomatic mission to Brumborg.

Michael is one of five children. He's the father of Joshua Pyrenees and the grandfather of Ruby and Elizabeth. Retired.

Nationality : British

Race : Mouse

DOB : April 18, 1921

Employer : N/A

Information : An older, wiser Princess Moraine. Moraine is the current Queen of Britain and the funder of RCSI. While technically the head of RCSI, in reality this is impractical due to her numerous other duties. As a result, she leaves the majority of the control over the agency to the Commander. Still, she takes a special interest in the agency and keeps involved in all its affairs. She is also the one responsible for appointing people to the positions of Commander, Head of Archives, and Royal Guardian. It is not unusual to see Her Majesty about in the agency's halls or to hear her being a little less formal around the members of RCSI, who she sees as "my people."

While having little sway over the day-to-day running of the country, she is seen as the complete ruler of the magical realm of the United Kingdom, many members of which do not recognize Parliament as a legitimate leader. Her Majesty is reputed to be warm towards many world leaders, though she has been heard on occasion to refer to the Astorian queen, Raewyn al'Melis al'Gera, as "that bloody, blinkered bint!"

Concern for the decline of magic in Astoria has lead Her Majesty to put aside personal feelings and open contact with Britain, though her motives may turn out to be more personal that RCSI would like.

A quiet, withdrawn woman, Wynnie is devoted to Gadel al'Gera and was deeply upset by the idea of her close friend leaving for Britain. She was also worried about what would happen to her once Gadel left. Rumors at court hint at something more than friendship between the two women.

Her fear over loosing Gadel led her to become the Dark Mage, an alias Wynnifred took while attempting to stop treaty negotiations between Britain and Astoria. Desperate to prevent Gadel from leaving, Wynnie was willing to destroy anyone who got in her way. Wynnifred's actions as the Dark Mage led to her being stripped of her rank and magic.
