Issue 24 - Page 11

This issue is extra special because it's a Sponsored Issue! Thank you!

Hey guys. It's a full house in today's page. It doesn't seem like it would be, but that third panel took a bit to get down. Since I'm not mucking about with colors and lighting now, I've decided to try working a bit more on my perspective. The grid for that panel was a mess. Lines everywhere. *laughs*

Thank you for the support about the switch to sketch only! I hope it's working out well so far. I'd like to wait until the end of March to increase the updates. That will give us almost an issue's worth of buffer for both CN:H and AYAD. I admit, I'm a little worried about the arm locking up for a week and my getting behind again. I want to avoid that if possible.

Thanks again! Until next week, take care!

It is so nice to see Gadel / Doodle again! :) :)
They've been wandering around in the background, getting into trouble. Well, Doodle has been. Gadel just watches.
If someone else eats that cake by 'mistake' it will become a Three's Company episode or a Bewitched one right? :) :)
Boy, this is sure turning into a party right quick!
It's getting kind of crowded in there, true.
Impressive page Thank you Darc
Thank you! :D

Wow does that 3rd panel look like a lot of work! And I like seeing Gadel again, even if she does look a bit of a sourpuss in the beginning. :-) I wonder how she'll get along with Mercy. With her background, Gadel's probably a lot more used to Mercy's type than most.
I should post the rough of that panel somewhere. It was a mess to sort out. Gadel should begin to feel comfortable in Leystone soon. The neighborhood is filled with more magical creatures and budding mages. :D
Great looking page again. The art shines through still even without the colours & shading. Oh, as for your comment about Old UK Currency on your Vintage Friday post -- it's 12 pence to the shilling, 20 shillings to the pound. So 3/6 is 3 and a half shillings, so you could have almost bought 6 books for a pound (but you'd need an extra shilling). I grew up with that stuff, it's a wonder we survived.
Thank you! And thanks for the info about the money! I always get confused when I run across it. Most of the vintage books that contain a catalog in the back of other titles don't include a price list. And there are never any prices on the books themselves. So I get really interested when I find one. I just love old books. :D
